Some interesting findings from the study Nurul Ain Mokhtar, Poo Bee Tin, Norlida Hanim Mohd Salleh from the Faculty of Economics and Management of National University of Malaysia:
i. The tourism sector contributes significantly to the country terutamanyadari terms of generating employment opportunities for Malaysians. This is in line with the government's effort to channel 10MP Facilitation Fund to NKEA sectors involved, including the tourism sector
ii. Results from projections made found that the tourism sector contributes the highest to be sub-human energy in Malaysia.
iii. Overall, the tourism sector dominates the manpower requirements of 21,134,441 in 2015. While the percentage contribution of labor in the economy stable level was 24.45% of the total manpower requirement in 2015.
